Product Description

This part includes one OEM shoe assembly for a reciprocating saw. The shoe assembly gives support while your tool is operating by acting as a spacer/stop. It also assists in limiting vibration and kickback. This part is commonly replaced because it gets lost. When it is used roughly, the pivot hinge between the mounting bar and the shoe assembly can break and this can cause the shoe assembly to fall off. For this repair you will need a torx screwdriver. Start by removing the screws that hold the shoe assembly to the housing, remove the old shoe, and secure the new shoe with the two screws.
