Product Description

Broken inner door glass
Removed two screws near the hinge when the door is open. Removed two screws from the top of the door when it was cracked open. The door is in layers, each one requires a nut driver to remove glass. If you have help it's easy to do.

Inside glass broken and asbestos insulator cord damaged
Taking the front door apart was rather simple following directions from whirlpool. Parts were delivered in two days after ordering. (Ground delivery). My problem was getting the insulator cord back into its place. The solution was to assemble the door not including the insulation panel (outside section), once assembled leaving the screws that hold the inner glass loose, then slip the asbestos cord in pace between the glass, tighten the screws. Once all is tightened, lay the outer section of the door down, lay the glass wool in place, bring down the door and finish assembling.
