This range interface control board allows the cooktop to communicate with a connected ventilation hood, letting you adjust fan speeds and lighting directly from the cooking surface for smoother, more efficient kitchen ventilation. It’s typically replaced when the hood no longer responds to cooktop commands or when integrated controls become unresponsive. Installation involves disconnecting power, accessing the control compartment, removing the old board, transferring each connector to the same location on the new unit, and securing it before reassembling the panel.
