This oven temperature sensor helps regulate heat by detecting the internal temperature during cooking. It includes a 3.9-inch probe, a 3.2-inch wire harness, and a 1.7-inch support bracket. If your oven isn’t heating properly—too hot, too cold, or not starting—the sensor may need replacing. To install, unplug the range and move it away from the wall. You’ll need a screwdriver, wrench, and drill with a Phillips bit. The sensor is usually near the heating element and may require removing the rear panel to access the wiring. Removing the oven door is optional but can make the job easier.
