I'm looking, but not finding a Maytag oven door handle to replace my broken one. My part number is 74011777 which is all black handle. this part is 74011767 which I noticed has a little silver on the handle. Would the dimensions be the same and would this handle fit my oven?

Hello John, thank you for your question. The two handles FIX11744469 and FIX2089069 would be interchangeable. You will also need to order the Handle screws FIX11743917 if you don't have the originals. Thank you and good luck with this repair.

Lift the door off oven and unscrew parts around door to access the handle bracket. Easy fix. The hardest part was remembering how to put it back together. You don't need to order the screws to attach the handle.
We read all of the instructions on the website and they were helpful, but no one mentioned opening the oven door fully and unlocking the hinges on each side, THEN lifting off the door! If we had not seen a video on UTube showing us how to unlock the door - we never would have gotten the door off and known how to take apart (step by step) the door to replace the oven handle. The video was absolutely great!
