Product Description
This genuine OEM kit includes the parts required to replace a surface burner receptable on your range. The kit comes with a plastic block, a metal bracket, high temperature wire nuts, and wires. The burner elements on the cooktop plug into the receptacle, and if the burner is not heating up properly, the receptacle may need to be replaced. Other signs that the receptacle is faulty is if there is corrosion on the element terminals. Before beginning this repair, please be sure to disconnect the power supply to your range. You will need a pair of wire strippers and a Phillips screwdriver for this installation.

Product Description

Burner Receptacle replacement
unplugged stove, removed old burner, lift top (mine did not have retaining screws), cut old wires, unscrewed Receptacle, screwed in new Burner Receptacle, used the wire strippers to strip back the old wire, then used the wire tie to connect (very very easy). done! plugged back in the new burner element (old one was burnt up) and plugge d the stove back in, complete! works great! My wife loves me again! :)

Receptacle prongs were sticking out of shipping package and one prong was VERY bent
Straightened prong with needle nose and pliers......prongs were flat instead of up and down ....needed to turn them

one eye was not working on my stove
I had one eye not working and the element was broken. I called customer service person was able to guide me to the parts I needed. I was able to follow the instructions that cams with the parts and I was able to repair my stove to as good as new.
