The stove's glass top cracked when a plate was dropped on top of it.
Googled a YouTube video of the repair. Seemed straight forward and it was. Remove the knobs. Unscrew the 4-5 screws that hold the silver facing in place, peal back the facing and take note of the rubber strip underneath. The rubber strip is DIRTY and we soaked it in hot soapy water. Remove the broken glass, pop in the new glass startin g with the backside, replace the rubber strip, faceplate, screws and knobs. Very simple! Took just one person.
