Product Description

If your stove’s burner isn’t heating right or seems stuck on high, it might be time to replace the control switch. This part helps you adjust the heat on dual burners—those with both small and large coils—so you can cook with precision. It works with many popular brands and is easy to install behind the control knob. Just make sure to turn off the power before starting. Once installed, your burner should respond properly to heat settings again.

Dual burner showing it hot but no burner heat either large or small.
Pulled stove from wall, unplugged power cable. Next removed back cover over the control area. Surveyed old switch and new switch and instructions before starting change. Removed knob on switch and removed large nut behind it. Removed two screws holding switch to front panel. Following the instructions supplied, moved wires from old switch to new switch. On trying to reinstall new switch to panel, found there was about 1/4 inch too short on the blue lead on the far left, looking at he rear of the switch. Removed the cover over the center back of the stove and pulled some slack up to the top. Installed switch to panel. Before reinstalling the covers, plugged the stove into the power receptical and made sure the burner functioned properly. It did. Removed power plug from outlet, reinstalled the two panels removed. Plugged stove back to the outlet. Set stove back in to position. I had someone beside me for safety. Housewife happy to get burner functioning once again.
