Product Description

If the oven in your gas range is not heating, there may be an issue with your igniter. This part is used to light the oven burner by igniting the gas. If you notice that it is glowing, but there is still no heat in your oven, your igniter may not be strong enough and needs to be replaced. This genuine OEM parts kit includes a mounting bracket, a wire connector with a plug, and the igniter which measures about 3-3/4 of an inch. Before starting this repair, please ensure that you disconnect both the power and the gas supply to your appliance. Note that you may need to splice the connector plug to the range wiring using porcelain wire nuts. When completing this repair, please be very careful not to touch the black element part of the igniter as it is very fragile.

On my oven broiler has hi/lo. The lo side does not heat much and the hi selector does not change the flame to high.
1. I turned off the gas and unplug the cord. I open the front door and took out the racks. I took the screw on the end of the tube in the middle and two screws with small plate covering the hole where the two wires of the igniter goes to the back of the oven. I open the back cover of the stove and unplug the Broiler igniter and pull the igniter and tube out on the front side of the oven. I remove the bad igniter and replace them with the new one (WB13K21) I tested the new one and it works well. I should have video tape my work because I did not see one on YouTube, only on the Bake side of the igniter.

oven wouldn't light
we opened the bottom drawer halfway, took off the cover plate on the bottom inside of the oven. removed the electric covers at the back. removed the old igniter. bolted the new igniter in it's place and snapped the electric fitting back together. We did not turn off the gas or unplug the unit, since there were no bare wires on this brand unlike the models that use twist nuts. You definitely need a flashlight and someone with a flexible back, half an hour from start to finish

having not read any of the repair instructions on the internet I removed the bottom panels of the oven and the gas log then decided to read the published repair instructions. But as it worked out I did not have to worry about dropping the attaching screws into the bottom pan. Reassembled everything and it worked as new. thanks for all your help easily saved a 100.00 dollar service call.

I was cleaning the oven and when my rag hit the igniter and it broke off.
Once I got the new one it was just removing two small screws and taking the old igniter out and replacing it with the new one . I really like the new one , it has a cage around it so it can't be broken so easy. Some one was thinking. After I mounted the new one I unplugged the old one and plugged the new one in. The whole job took about 20 min.. The wife was happy and I was out of the dog house.

Oven would not light,
Heater element would glow but, was weak. I checked the element with my meter and sure enough, it was weak. Your website is great as it had told me that the element was responsible more than 80% of the time for my issue. I ordered the part at 2pm and FedEx delivered it the NEXT DAY! at 11:15 AM. I was back up and running by Noon. I appreciate it!

Oven was intermittently lighting/heating
On line research pointed to oven igniter issue. In oven I removed the bottom panel. Still could not reach the disconnect in order to remove the old igniter. I then removed a second panel (not necessary). I then realized that by removing the draw below the oven that the disconnect could be reached. I then undid the disconnect by squeezing the tabs. Using the nut driver I removed the 2 nuts holing the old igniter, removed it and installed the new one. Very easy repair and now works great!
