This metal burner head delivers 12,000 BTUs of heat and fits under the burner cap on gas ranges and cooktops. Measuring approximately 3.5 inches in diameter, it distributes gas evenly for a consistent flame. Damaged Spark Electodes and Plugged and Damaged Burners
Unplug range from electrical outlet. Remove grates, burner caps and burner heads from range top. Remove 12 screws(3 on each orifice assembly) with a T10 Torx screwdriver which can be purchased at any hardware storel. Using a flat bladed screw driver disengage clips located near the right and left corners under the range top. Lift the top of the range. Disconnect the electrode wires. Each electrode can be pushed up from the bottom and removed. Reverse the procedure in finishing the job.
