This part (continuous switch for small burner of kenmore range) has been replaced with 316436000 which might be fine electrically but how do I match up the connectors. 316021500 is square with different positions for the wires to connect.

The dove top burner will go to maximum heat instead of regulating with thermostat.

No temp. control
New control unit came with no instructions for hookup. Lugs on new control did not match old control unit. Hooked up new control and burned up two existing controls on range.Don't try to install this control without wiring instructions!
