HALOGEN LIGHT BULB WB08X34831

Hello, My GE Range Vent Hood (model # ZV48SSF3SS) needs 3 replacement Halogen lamps. I have tried purchasing a PAR 16 replacement and they are too long in overall length by about 0.125 inches. One of the makers says that their bulbs is a direct replacement for GE p/n WB08X10028. I noticed that you are indicating that your p/n WB08X34831 is a replacement for WB08X10028. How can I be sure that your p/n will properly replace my original Halogen Bulbs in my GE Range Hood ? The overall bulb length (from glass face to screw end tip) I need should be 2.875 inches.
