Hi Fred, Thank you for your question. Before replacing the transformer in your range hood, please turn the power off to it. To protect the top of the stove from damage while you are working on the range hood, place a blanket over it. Then rotate the axis panel down and use a flat-head screwdriver to remove the screws securing the panel. With the panel removed, remove the grease filters. Then remove the screws securing the filter frames. Next remove the screws securing the blower filter cover. Then remove the screws securing the light assembly panel and then slide it back to remove it. Then disconnect the light assembly wire connections from the panel and set it aside. Unthread the screws securing the housing to the mounting rail and then release the power supply cable from the retaining clip and disconnect all of the wire connections to release the housing. Next remove the screws securing the control housing cover and remove it. Then unthread one of the screws securing the transformer to the housing and then loosen the second screw to release the transformer. Then unthread the screw securing the wiring cover. Take note of how the wires are arranged and then remove the screws securing the wires. Remove and detach the wires from the old transformer. Before installing the new transformer remove the screw securing the wire cover. Then connect the wires to the appropriate terminals on the transformer.
