It is an authentic manufacturer-supplied part which is made for use with kerosene forced air heaters. Spark plugs are used to deliver the electric current which will ignite the fuel. Over time spark plugs will get dirty or fouled requiring replacement. Refer to the owner's manual for your model to ensure the correct repair procedure.
