A set of pliers and a screwdriver might be required during the replacement of this part. It will need to be replaced if it becomes broken or frayed. How would a bad pressure switch effect my machine? The pump seems to be good, but has low pressure.

Hello Chris, Thank you for writing. The pressure switch connects to the pump and helps to control the pressure inside the tank. A bad switch can effect the amount of pressure built up in the tank. It may have no/not enough pressure or too much pressure but will not build up pressure to the proper settings. We hope this helps!
