Product Description

This valve kit, also known as a check valve kit, is a genuine OEM replacement kit designed for pressure washers. It includes 6 valves each with a seal and spring. The valves are responsible for maintaining the appropriate pressure levels needed to operate the equipment efficiently. If the valves are worn down or damaged, you will notice low or no pressure, weak water flow, and water leakages. To access the valves, first remove the pump from the equipment engine. Pull out the faulty valves using a pair of needle nose pliers and set them aside. Apply a light layer of lubricant to the new valves and place them in their correct position. Reattach the pump to the engine to complete the repair.

Pressure washer would not pressurize
1. Removed pump to check if pistons were operating as required.
2. Cleaned check valves to see if it would work when cleaned.
3. Cleaning did not work and ordered new check valves.
4. After receiving new check valves, removing the old was very difficult and I had to modify a paint can opener to be able to pull them out. This was the most difficult step. All broke in the process and to make sure no pieces were left in the pump.
5. Inserted new check valves.
6. Re-installed pump with allen wrench.
7. Restarted washer to prove it worked properly.
