Battery placed in charger for perhaps 15 seconds, then all power ceased to charger - no lights

Replaced fuse in charger with no success. Replaced varistor in charger, again with no success. Checked that 120 volts being delivered to circuit board - OK. Out of ideas - to the garbage the charger goes. Read more...
