This part includes one genuine battery terminal for a cordless drill. This part is where the battery terminals connect. It is a plastic block that has metal spades, which engage the contacts on the battery. If the battery shorts or the drill overheats, this can cause damage to the terminal. If you notice melted plastic around the spades or the spades themselves have melted or are discolored, these are also signs that a replacement is required. The wire connections are another area to take note as these can cause issues with the terminal too. For this repair, remove the rear cover, separate the housings, and slide the terminal out. Be sure to take note of the wire connections and disconnect them from the terminal assembly.
