This is a genuine part assembled by the original manufacturer. It is used in some Ridgid handheld power tools such as planers. These bearings hold the infeed (front) and outfeed (rear) rollers so that they can spin freely. Bearings are used to buffer moving parts so that they aren't damaged from friction, allowing for smooth motion. They also allow for controlled and steady directional movement.
