It is a genuine manufacturer-sourced component which is designed for use with Makita planers. This special part is utilized to quickly and easily properly set planer blades. It is an identical replacement for a faulty or a missing assembly that was installed on a new unit. Please make sure to check the owners manual and the appropriate diagrams of your model for the correct application of this item. It is made of durable materials and is sold individually. Note, you will need a wrench set in order to remove the blades which will allow you to replace the blade gauge assembly.
