This is a genuine manufacturer sourced replacement part, it is specially produced for Senco staplers. The purpose of this piston bumper is to keep the piston from hitting the bottom of the cylinder and damaging it. Because this part get so much abuse it has a tendency to crack and fall apart over time eventually requiring replacement. Please note this bumper is made of durable plastic material and it is sold individually.
