This is a genuine manufacturer-sourced replacement bumper which is used on Porter Cable nailers. The purpose of this part is to keep the piston from hitting the bottom of the cylinder and damaging it, over time the material may wear out and crack eventually requiring replacement. This item is made of high-quality rubber and it is sold individually.
