Product Description

This is an authentic Max replacement part. The cylinder cap seal is placed between the cylinder cap unit and the fame of the nail gun. This seal helps maintain pressure inside the nail gun while also helping to keep dust, dirt, and jobsite debris out. When this seal starts to wear down it will fail, air will begin to leak from your nail gun and it will no longer be able to drive nails effectively. This cylinder cap seal is sold individually.

The nail gun is over 10 years old and spends most of it's life inside a hot trailer. The seal finally dried out and wouldn't hold pressure.
I unscrewed 4 Allen head screws in the cylinder cap.
Removed the cap and seal.
Discarded the old seal and cleaned the area.
Placed new seal and screwed the cap back on.
Good as new!
