This is an authentic OEM part that has been sourced directly from Max. O-rings are essential in the assembly of your air compressor and nail gun. O-rings seal all of the connection points and ensure your compressors and nail guns are holding and maintaining pressure. These simple rubber rings make sure parts are moving effectively without allowing air leaks and loss of pressure. Due to the fact they are made of rubber and face both heat and friction inside your compressor and nail gun they will wear down. They become brittle and break down, when this happens they become less effective, and so does your equipment, which is why they need to be checked and replaced often.
