This replacement cylinder o-ring is a high quality item that is specially designed for Hitachi nailers and staplers. This is one of the o-ring for the cylinder guide which is sold separately. Over time these rubber seals tend to become brittle and crack eventually requiring replacement. Replacing this item is a relatively simple task that should only require a hex key also known as an allen wrench.
