O-ring 612096-00

This is a Genuine Manufacturer Sourced replacement part designed for Dewalt Framing Nailers. This is a Rubber O-ring and it is Sold Individually. It provides and air tight seal so the unit can maintain air pressure. Over time O-Rings will become brittle and stretched. If your Nailer is leaking air most likely you need to replace some of the O-Rings. To replace this item you would need to remove Nailer Housing/Cover by removing the screws that hold it together. This will require a properly sized Allen Key or Hex Wrench. Also, you would need a straight pin or something similar to remove the old o-ring. It is advised to check all O-Rings periodically to ensure top performance of your Nailer.
