This replacement o-ring is a genuine OEM sourced item, not an aftermarket alternative. It is a high quality item used on Bostitch nailers and staplers. This o-ring is utilized to provide an air-tight seal for the frame cap. Over time rubber o-rings tend to get compressed becoming brittle and cracking no longer serving its function. Keep an eye on the tools performance inspect the o-rings periodically replacing them as needed to maintain optimum performance. Please note, one o-ring is included per order. To complete this repair you will need a hex key also known as an allen wrench.
