This is a whisk attachment for a hand mixer. The whisk is used to beat air into mixtures such as egg whites, yolks, or cream. To remove the whisk attachment (or any attachment), start by making sure the speed control is in the off position and the cord is disengaged. Hold onto the stem of the attachment with your hand and push the beater eject button, and this will release the whisk attachment into your hand. This OEM whisk can be washed in warm soapy water or in the dishwasher.
