Is this an OEM part? or after market part? I see this part on Amazon with bad reviews saying only last a couple months of use. What is the warranty?
For model number Pro 600

followed instructions from your web sight. the most important part is to make sure you put the wiring on the proper connection. the board was wired a little different than the original.
When I got my speed control switch it was fairly easy to install. You nee to pay attention to where the wires go to on each switch. Read each connector carefully on the circuit board to put the wires in place on the new one.
The mixer didnt always turn on at the lowest speed setting.
Husband unscrewed 5 or 6 screws, took the too off, disconected the board and knob and put everything back together. It was really simple. I think I'd have been able to do it if I had to!
1 removed silver band by loosening set screw. Removed 4 screws to remove cover. Removed screws for control card. Pulled off wires and installed new card

Extremely easy
My wife got a brand new KitchenAid mixer that came dead on arrival. I contacted the seller and they agreed to discount the mixer instead of sending it back to them. All it needed was the power switch which was extremely easy to replace and now the mixer works just fine.
