Installed the spring latch "BACKWARDS"
I compared the new latch to the broken one -- exact same size -- this should be a good fit. Flipped the latch over, used the cordless drill to attach the screws.. Amazing what happens when It is done correctly. Have used my mixer a few times since attaching the spring latch. Loving it..!!
