Product Description

This replacement field is specially designed for Dewalt miter saws. It is a genuine part that is sourced directly from original equipment manufacturer. In conjunction with an armature it is this is the main component of an electric motor. A field is generally would get damaged by overloading the power tool or due to a faulty armature. It is advised to replace carbon brushes when replacing a field. Please note, this metal item is sold individually. To complete this repair you should need a screwdriver. • Make sure the saw is unplugged • Remove brush covers and take out brushes • Remove the cap and the housing screws • Once the housing is removed you will have access to the field • Disconnect all wires leading from the field • Take out old field and replace it with a new one • Re-connect all the wires • Re-assemble the motor
