Screw drivers
Oven overheating - unable to control temperature
- Remove cover (screws on rear and bottom) by sliding back to release clips.

- Remove insulation from inside the top. While this isn't necessary for the repair, if you come in contact with bare skin it will make you itch.

- Remove the control knobs and panel cover (screws on the inside around the control knobs) .

- Remove the old thermostat control (screws). The wire runs up the side, along the top to the other side.

- Remove the thermostat. Drill out rivets starting at the wire end and try to wiggle it out. I was able to remove mine by only removing 2 rivets instead of all 4.

- Slide the new thermostat through the hole in the side of the cabinet. Secure with new rivets (1/8").

- Run the wire along the top of the unit, and secure the control in the panel. Extra slack in the wire can be folded along the top. That's how I found the original.

- Install the control panel and knobs.

- Install the insulation (gloves are your friend).

- Install the cover. This might take extra hands to keep all locking tabs aligned to get the screw installed.
