Product Description
It is a genuine item that is supplied by the original manufacturer for use with Waring convection ovens. The thermostat is designed to measure the temperature inside the oven. Unfortunately, over time it may wear out or get damaged eventually requiring a replacement. Check the appropriate diagrams for your model to ensure the correct repair procedure. Note, this high-quality thermostat is sold as an individual component. A screwdriver will be needed to take apart and reassemble the unit when performing this repair.

2 - Remove insulation from inside the top. While this isn't necessary for the repair, if you come in contact with bare skin it will make you itch.
3 - Remove the control knobs and panel cover (screws on the inside around the control knobs) ... Read more .
4 - Remove the old thermostat control (screws). The wire runs up the side, along the top to the other side.
5 - Remove the thermostat. Drill out rivets starting at the wire end and try to wiggle it out. I was able to remove mine by only removing 2 rivets instead of all 4.
6 - Slide the new thermostat through the hole in the side of the cabinet. Secure with new rivets (1/8").
7 - Run the wire along the top of the unit, and secure the control in the panel. Extra slack in the wire can be folded along the top. That's how I found the original.
8 - Install the control panel and knobs.
9 - Install the insulation (gloves are your friend).
10 - Install the cover. This might take extra hands to keep all locking tabs aligned to get the screw installed.
