Took longer to remove the microwave from the built in cabinet on our boat than to repair the broken latch. Remove screws on sides and back of cabinet. Remove case. Broken latch came right off. Took cover off, removed timer panel assembly, and replaced door latch. Note: use care when snapping the latch into the holder. The latch originally broke when the microwave was just over a year old. Being a repairman, I jury-rigged it, and it lasted several years, but it failed completely this time, and had to be replaced.
