I only unscrew the fist and last screw,fitted the grill and replace the screw back,nothing fancy.

Vent Grill retainers were broken.
The only tool required is a #2 Phillips screw driver for the two screws on top of the grill.

The vent grille was broken
you have to remove two screws on the top of the vent grille remove the broken grille and put the new one with the same two screws that you remove before the vent grille was exactly the same one so fit just right

Somehow the original grill got broken, fell off when I opened door!
This was an over the stove mounted microwave, very closely fit into cabinetry. We put a blanket on stove, 5 gal. plastic bucket upside down on stove, books on bucket. Went into cabinet and removed mounting screws. We lowered front of microwave enough to have room to remove screws, snapped new grill in place,installed screws. Raised front of oven up, reinstalled mounting screws. Removed books, bucket and blanket. Job done!!

Vent grill had broken off of the top of the microwave
Simply remove the screws holding in the top of the old vent grille, tilt the grill towards you and remove the grille by pulling the bottom tabs out/down toward you. To reinstall, put the bottom tabs in first and rotate the top into place. Replace the screws in the top of the microwave that hold the grille in place. Finish with a beer a nd gloating with your significant other on how you just saved a bunch of money by replacing the broken part instead of replacing the entire unit. You may gloat for a few days after as well.

Replaced the charcoal and grease filters and the fan vent grille
The old vent grille was already off so it was easy to place the new grille in place and tighten the screws. The only hard part about the filters was using the screwdriver to pry them a little in order to grab them to take out.

when i receive my new vent all i had too do was take out the old screws, and apply new vent an replace the screws. that it !
