Removed the three top screws pulled out the vent. Snapped new vent grille into place and replaced screws, 5-10 minutes

Surprise!
Happy to find a part for an appliance made in '98. Although white as opposed to a bone white color, that was understandable. Part fit well and was installed in a matter of minutes onto a microwave with under cabinet mounting. Without it I would probably have been forced to buy a new microwave and the stove to match!
