How do we access the turntable motor on the above model. Also, should we consider the motor being defective if turntable intermittenly turns. The shaft and the part the platter looks okay, not stripped. Assume the grill comes off as I see screws around trim, once trim off is the unit on rails that you can slide unit out to where you can access bottom for motor replacement? Appreciate your input. Thanks, LH

Hello Lynn, thank you for your question. We have researched your model and found that first you need to check the drive block for being worn or cracked, and check the wheel ring, but more often this is a bad motor, part number PS237905. To replace the motor, first unplug the appliance from the electrical outlet or turn the circuit breaker off. You will need to drop the bottom panel down to gain access to the turntable motor. You will have to remove several mounting screws along the bottom of the microwave. Then, lower the bottom panel to access the turntable motor. Remove the wires from the turntable motor. Remove the turntable motor with a Torx bit. Remove the spacer from the old motor to put it on the new motor. Bring the new motor into position and secure it with the screws. Now reattach the wires, and secure the lower panel with the screws. We hope this helps!
