Where is the sensor located? Do I have to take the oven out?
For model number JT930BOH1BB
Hello Mark, thank you for your great question. You will need to access the rear of the unit. The sensor will be in plain view connected to a wiring harness by a plastic tab. The sensor itself needs to be accessed by unscrewing the two screws you see holding it. With the two screws removed, unclick the plastic tab to separate the sensor from the harness. Pull out the sensor. Replace with new sensor carefully not to disturb any insulation. Re screw the two screws and re attach the sensor and harness by clicking the plastic tab together. Good luck with your repair.

My oven is clicking and takes a long time to heat up. Could this fix the problem.
For model number JT930BH1BB
Hello Mark, Thank you for the question. We suggest testing the Sensor. Testing the temperature sensor probe on your oven is easy. With the sensor at room temperature, measure the resistance between the two prongs at the end of the sensor connector. The resistance of the sensor should read approximately 1080 – 1090 ohms at room temperature. We hope this helps!
