Product Description

This is a genuine OEM repair part sourced directly from Coleman. It is used with the 8 D LED Pack-Away Battery Lantern. This is the bottom cap that covers the 8 D-size batteries that are used to power the lantern. This part is sold individually. To Install This Part: • With lantern off, turn upside down and unscrew base by rotating the knob on base cap counterclockwise. • Install 8 batteries in the correct orientation as shown on the battery housing. Always be careful that all 8 batteries are installed correctly. • Replace base by screwing the knob on the base cap clockwise until hand tight. Check that base is securely installed in closed position before transporting lantern.
