This is an original part from Stihl for use with Leaf Blowers. The starter spring retracts the starter rope into the starter assembly. The most common reason for replacing the starter spring is when the starter rope doesn't have resistance when pulled. This part is sold individually. Here is a list of tools that are needed to replace the starter spring a Torx screwdriver, needle-nose pliers, Phillips screwdriver, towel, and a small slotted screwdriver.
