This part is made out of metal. The bushings fit between the steering shaft and the steer plate and help to support both parts. If these parts become broken they will need to be replaced and may require a socket set and a wrench set during the installation. I am looking for this kind of bushing at the lower end of the steering shaft but I need it in a 3/4 size hole. Does this part fit a 3/4 steering shaft
