Traction Cable 115-8436

This is an authentic manufacturer sourced replacement part designed for Toro lawn mowers. The traction cable is used to engage the drive wheels of a lawn mower. It is connected to the traction bail and then attached to the traction bracket near the transmission. This cable is rubber insulated to help protect it. Includes one cable per order. To complete this repair you will need a screwdriver and pliers. • Note the position of the old cable • Remove the nut and washer securing the cable to the bracket • Remove one end from the control handle • Release the old traction cable from where it is secured • Release the spring bolt from the transmission bracket • Pull the old traction cable out • Secure the new cable in place • Reassemble in reverse order
