This is a genuine replacement blade which is supplied directly from the original equipment manufacturer for use with Snapper and Simplicity lawn mowers. It is secured under the deck to cut the grass. Over time the blade may wear out or get damaged eventually requiring replacement to maintain a clean cut lawn. Dull or worn lawnmower blades can cause the grass blades to tear and fray causing a yellowish coloring to the top of the lawn. It is a high-quality component which is made of durable metal and is sold individually. Refer to the owners manual and the diagrams of your model for the correct installation. You will need a wrench to remove the old one and secure the new one.
