This is an OEM bolt and washer assembly, designed to hold the lawnmower blade to the spindle shaft. This threaded bolt has a curved rounded head and measures approximately 7/16-inches by 2-inches. If your lawnmower blade is not rotating properly or making grinding sounds, these are usually the first signs that that the bolt and washer may be worn. For this beginner repair, start by making sure the engine is cool, the spark plug is removed, and the mower is on its side. Remove the old bolt and washer with a socket. Insert the new bolt and washer into the blade opening and secure it with the socket.
