Blade, Mulching (upper) 72531-VE2-020

This is an upper mulching blade for a lawn mower. It is sourced directly from the original manufacturer, ensuring the best quality. It attaches to the blade holder underneath the mower deck. This blade is sold as an individual part, so the bolts and washers to secure it are sold separately. For this simple DIY repair, allow the engine to cool, remove the boot from the spark plug and turn off the fuel valve. Put the mower on its side, being careful of any gas or engine oil that may spill. Use a support to secure the blade(s) in place. Use a 14mm socket to remove the bolts and washers and pull the blade(s) off. Install the new mulching blade by lining it up with the high lift blade (if applicable). Then position the blade(s) onto the roto stop and secure it in place with the bolts and washers. Be sure to torque the bolts according to the manufacturers requirements.
