This authentic OEM guard assembly, also known as the grass deflector or guard blade, plays a crucial role in your handheld lawn equipment. It shields the user from debris, grass, and dirt that can be thrown during operation. This assembly is usually positioned around the cutting head and includes the cutting blade. If you notice visible cracks, breaks, or any form of damage on the guard, if it becomes loose or detached, or if it fails to block debris effectively, it is time to replace it. To install the new assembly, remove the existing guide wheel and replace it on the new trimmer guard. Simply take off the retaining washer for the wheel, slide it off, replace the guard, and then put the wheel and retention washer back in place. Keep in mind that this replacement kit does not include accompanying hardware.

This slider assembly is sourced from the original manufacturer for use in string trimmers. It includes a plastic slider, which has a diameter of 3 inches, and a metal insert. The slider assembly may wear down or break due to usage and aging, leading to difficulties feeding the cutting line, instability in the trimmer head, and reduced trimmer performance. Begin the repair by ensuring that the trimmer is turned off. Remove the trimmer cover/shroud and pull the spool out of the trimmer head. Unthread the faulty slider by hand and insert the new assembly in its place. Place the spool back in the trimmer head and reattach the cover to complete the repair.

Installation Instructions

One diamond on top of auto feeder slide broken off
Packed my patience. Could not find video on how to install new slider kit for an automatic feeder. Blindly removed 14 screws starting with shield and every screw on up the shaft encasing the motor and trimmer line. Then I couldn't pull it apart. Found two labeled areas tgat needed labels cut to split it open. Needed man power. After disassembling, cleaning dread grass away, putting in new unit after removing old unit, reversed my taking apart steps to put together. Ended up with a two inch long compression spring I can not find where it goes. The slider springs are there with the old and new units. Trimmer works okay. My suggestion is have area clean of everything so if an extra part shows up, you know it belongs to what you just took apart. Wish there was a video for auto feed line, not bumper nor gas trimmer, nor making auto feed into a manual feed. Read more...

This is a fuel return line, and it is used with various outdoor lawn equipment. Fuel travels through the return line into the carburetor, and from the primer bulb/pump into the fuel system. Before you begin repair work on your equipment make sure you drain the fuel from the tank, and remove the spark plug.

This is a primer and hose assembly, and it is used on various lawn equipment. The assembly comes with two parts. The first is the hose which is almost 5 inches long, and less than a 1/4 inch thick. The second part is the primer bulb or primer pump, and that is 2 inches long, and 1 inch wide, with a round bulb head. Together, the primer and hose assembly fill the carburetor with fuel to give your machine a quicker start. After time, your hose will crack and your primer will lose elasticity. Both will have to be replaced when this happens. Before starting this repair make sure to drain the fuel from the tank, and remove the spark plug.
