Wand Assembly

This genuine OEM wand assembly is made for use on sprayers. This part connects into the shut-off valve/handle in the retaining nut end, and into the nozzle assembly elbow on the other end. This is an authentic OEM supplied replacement primer bulb. It is a specially designed for use on Shindaiwa gas powered trimmers/brushcutters. Its purpose is to create vacuum in the carburetor. When you press down on the bulb, gas from the tank will move into the the carburetor bowl. Excess fuel is then returned back to the fuel tank. It also removes air from the carburetor, which helps the engine start more quickly and easily. It is made from a rubber material and it is sold individually. Over time, the primer bulb may begin to deteriorate or crack. Fortunately, replacing the primer bulb is an easy task. You would need a wrench to complete this job. • Remove the air filter lid • Drain the fuel • Remove the air cleaner case • Remove the carburetor • Remove the primer bulb • Install the primer bulb • Reassemble in reverse order and test the unit
