For full compatibility, please see the "Model Cross Reference List" below. This is a shear pin for your lawn and garden equipment, most commonly your snow blower. It is designed to snap if your auger gets jammed or clogged, to protect your snow blower from further damage. Because this part is meant to snap at a certain point of pressure, it is a commonly replaced part in snow blowers. Consequently, we recommend keeping a spare on hand. This Shear Pin is approximately 1.75" long, and is sold individually.

This is a genuine OEM sourced replacement shear pin designed for use with snow blowers/throwers. Shear pins are installed in order to protect your snowblower and it measures 1/4 X 1.750. If the auger gets jammed or clogged, shear bolt is designed to snap at a certain point of pressure, so it will not damage any other part of the unit. This pin is made out of metal and it is sold individually. Please note the cotter pin used to secure this pin is sold separately. In order to install or remove this pin you will need pliers.

This is an individually sold OEM shear bolt for a snow blower (sometimes called a shear pin). We advise having a few extra of these on hand in case it breaks. The purpose of the shear bolt is to protect the snowblower in the event that the auger gets jammed or clogged, preventing the transmission and engine from getting damaged. It is designed to break at a specific point of pressure, and when it does snap, it will need to be replaced to get your unit back up and running again.
