This is a fuel line grommet, and it is used with various lawn and garden equipment. This part prevents leaking fuel and fumes. The grommet is placed in the fuel tank to seal the opening area where the fuel line and the fuel tank connect. A worn grommet is a safety hazard because it will cause fuel to leak from the tank. We recommend when replacing it to also replace the fuel line. Before starting this repair make sure to drain the fuel from the tank, and remove the spark plug.

Leaf Blower Retainer Cushion

This is an authentic OEM retainer cushion, sold independently. The retainer cushion is an isolator mount that secures the blowers fan housing and engine to the backpack frame. It consists of two steel plates that are attached to a rubber isolator. The isolator helps to limit the vibration from the harness. This rubber isolator component can deteriorate over time and will fail, requiring replacement. To access this part, start by removing the nut that secures the retainer cushion to the frame. Then remove the screws that secure the intake shroud to the frame. This will allow you to remove the blower housing and motor away from the frame. Remove the retainer strap from the stud on the isolator and the two screws that secure it to the blower housing. The new retainer can now be installed.
