A worn or broken piston ring will allow combustion gases to escape the seal and enter the crankcase, causing low compression and a loss of power. If compression is reduced significantly, the engine will not run at all. This part is made out of metal and is sold individually. To complete this repair you will need a set of wrenches, pliers and a screwdriver.

This is an OEM part sourced directly from the manufacturer. The swivel coupling is found in a Ridgid oiler. This part is made of high-quality plastic, and comes with a flexible plastic O-ring for sealing the connection with the machine. This part is placed in the lower side of the bucket assembly, allowing oil to feed into the hose. No tools are required when replacing this item. Simply unscrew the old part and thread the new one into place. Be sure to have a drip pan ready to catch any oil that may spill during this process.
